But where does the Easter Bunny tradition come from?
The Easter Bunny is a folkloric figure who originated among German Lutherans, who played the role of a judge evaluating whether children were good or disobedient. In legend, he carries a basket with coloured eggs, candy and sometimes toys. According to the legend, only good children received gifts or coloured eggs in the nests that they made themselves in their caps (for the boys) and their bonnets (for the girls) before Easter.
